I think...yeah, it did. It seemed the most reasonable find - but for the stairs. And another was about $900, but asked for 1/3 utilities. I might be mixing them up. My first priority is a vacancy.
This place looks awesome, just like the gas town place my friend lived in in Van (but was depressing to me because it was on a very poor alleyway and seemed oppressive). No, it's not in my stratosphere, it just looked so familiar. Probably the same architect.

This is actually really nice if I could find a mature roommate. Maybe that's a route to think about...but that's tougher as we get older, to live with roommates.

That one actually looks nice. If you could go up to 1100, you'd have a whole big place to yourself! Use the second bedroom as a den, or even a little guest room as well, with a murphy bed...
That's an idea, I would just need to have consistent work hours (or be able to work them). But I could stretch that far...and I am open to finding a quiet working or very studious roommate. There must be other women in a similar boat, I can imagine...separated/ divorced, maybe not professional incomes, trying to get back on their feet. How do I find them?
Want to move here and be my roommate, Bette? (Kidding, I know you are established there).
I think it's too much just for me. That would be hard to keep up with because there are booms and busts with contracts at my current workplace. Some months that would be way too much.

It's really friggin' tempting some days. I miss my son, and I'd be close.
Post grad student maybe, or quiet foreign student. This is a college party town, for the locals though. It hasn't changed since I was younger, except now students sublet their messy bedrooms (just the way they left them) in shared spaces like this, for the summer (or sometimes just for a month), then move back in, because of the vacancy problem.
This one has been available for a month, edit: 2months - and it's nice. Great deal. I saw it on another ad site, too. But nobody wants it, I assume, because it's wireless free. And no laundry onsite. That is also a pain in the but with no car, especially. I too feel I need to be able to use my cell phone. And my computer is an iPad that was a gift. I don't even know if they can be hooked up to ethernet - if there's an adapter.

@BetteTheRed these ones crack me up. You would be surprised how many students post photos of rooms like this. No thanks! Haha. Maybe when I was 19 I would think that was cool. I can't imagine too many are jumping on the offer, though.
