I watched "A Beautiful Life" on Netflix and found it to be a good movie to hunker down with on these cooler nights.
A swedish movie with subtitles about a local musician/ singer who goes to a local pub to back up his friend who wants to be discovered by a famous talent scout who will be in the crowd, but instead of his friend being discovered, he is.
He's had a rocky life to get there and many past emotional experiences that threaten his road to stardom but also contribute to it. Enjoyed it.

Some of this matter can rot your heart leaving one with nothing but psyche ... in hurd! Ur dic*ment ... thus indicted ...

Yet Monae attracts many essences ... great smears of spectra ... Lisa all ... it calms in the end ... that great Wadi ... a pass? Just a groove to a mess ...

Alla gori call ...

This one on Netflix sounds sublimely bizarre:

"
Russian Doll follows a woman named Nadia who is caught in a time loop as the guest of honor at her seemingly inescapable 36th birthday party one night in New York City. She dies repeatedly, always restarting at the same moment at the party, as she tries to figure out what is happening to her. She meets a man who is experiencing the same thing in a different event.[5]

In season 2, Nadia is 10 days away from celebrating her 40th birthday when the 6 train sends her back in time to 1982. She soon discovers she is trapped inside the body of her mother, Lenora, who is pregnant with her. Nadia decides to pursue the gold Krugerrands her mother lost that same year, in order to change the course of her family's history."

I tried it a while ago and couldn't get past the first few episodes without falling asleep. Someone, I think here, mentioned it picks up.
