Does anyone have a recommendation for an on-line biblical commentary?

There are so many options I feel completely overwhelmed.

Normal people are not to comment on biblical wisdom .. it is a closed mystery! Mad law by the unknow*n ...

Until one becomes unorthodox ... why Christ was buried ... in a tome nonetheless! Tis a rite of passage ...

Working Preacher is a very helpful commentary site. It follows the lectionary but also includes a search index so that if there's a particular passage you want to look up regardless of whether it's on for this week or not you can.

I've used it in the past. I haven't in years, though. Most of the objections to the bible are pretty obvious.

A good commentary that I've often used when preparing for sermons (along with other sources) is the NIV Application Commentary. I don't know if that one's online or not though. What I like aboit it is that it not only offers text interpretation but also ideas on applying passages to every day living.

I am reading Jack Spong's recent publication ... that should cause dissonance among those that reject science and observational experience with adequate questioning!

Imagine a title like UNBELIEVABLE ... for those that can't see the topical nature ... blind fates?

I find it notable that Jack is a word once used to denote demons like John appeared to Judean Monarchy! Then Light erupted as an undercurrent ... partisan implications!
