This is a "picture yourself" exercise I am asking that you each reflect on what you would do with that moeny.

    I didn't win $50million
    I don't buy lottery tickets.
I doubt that I have some long lost relative who is going to give me $50million.

But I am going to imagine that I did.

It would be terrifying ... the prospect of doing something responsible with it given the extraction of intelligence from the common folk in this regard ... as declared from ancient powers!

I feel so shamed by my state of unknown ... but perhaps I might do something socially acceptable ... far more ultimate than some roles that isolate thoughts by scary ad verts!

Beyond that I am not licensed to say Moor ... its the law ... wee people should be silent and uncritical ...

This feels like a bit of a trap.

I would have to think about it. After all, 50 million is a lot. It would be overwhelming. I have no need nor desire for that amount of money.

I would assess how much I would need to set aside to live comfortably. As you know, we've downsized our lives considerably. That would remain. I certainly would feel relief on one hand that I am financially secure. That would give me space to live my life more freely I suspect.

I would find ways to pay it forward. That would involve taking with people who are wiser than I as I figure out what to do. I would not want to "throw money" into "solutions"

I would keep $500,000 and then I would have to take on the hard task of trying to allot the rest to natural areas that need protection... and it wouldn't go very far. My choice is based on the idea that every living thing needs a healthy habitat -- including people. It's only alot of money on a personal scale and might only benefit a small area.

Make sure family and friends have their debt paid.
Fund an education fund for kids who don’t stand out.
    Support a housing project.
Drive cross country in a VW camping van.
    Have my garden professionally landscaped.
    Hire a cleaning help.
Buy the other two appartments in my building and have them renovated and go green.

A previous coworker won $50mil. I don't know the specifics. They bought a new house, but, nothing insane. They bought a cottage in ski country in quebec. There kids still go to school and they drive used cars. She set up a trust which she distributes to charities. I don't know the specifics. She found that many people came out of the wood work. I miss her.

I would try to construct some sort of company that would employ many of the homeless/underemployed young people that I know.

    What would i do?
I would consult an expert on how to ensure the money was able to do the most good without falling into tax issues.

Here are some of the lists of things that I would help
    a) family -- enough to be comfortable but still have to work
    b) a cottage that could be held in perpetuity by the family -- a place to gather and be together
    c) donations - immediate
    - Five Oaks - new dining / multipurpose / simple hall on lower level, able to be opened up or closed, sliding entrance ways, accessable, etc
-- church - quick influx to balance budget.
    d) donations long -term
-- work with Five Oaks to lay down architecture for 50 years hence for all our partners.
-- fund a bursary for youth camping (possibly through funding of summer staff, thereby reducing cost)

The question would be: how much would be held back for family. I honestly don't know.

This would allow a camp out area for youth without Joe'Bs (Joabin?) as labour is reduced by industrial drives to get rid of those useless leisured folk ...

We were warned back in the 50-60's that automation would generate automatons as relaxation syndrome creeps up and allow the rich to get more of the same until unthinking undoes them ... the void then swallow in ways only ignorance knows ... brute forces? One should push for more of the same ...

No useless person should be doing nothing like generating critical commentary for those at ease ...

With knowledge of ancient iconics and symbols you can express this in a way supporting hubris and allowing the lesser folk to see amusing sublimation of anima's ... the dark side of humanity? This differs from the A'mus en ... in high spirits over insubstantial wealth ... the brutus side can break out in madness ... and go either way ...

Team up with Little M to start our own tech company (after paying for him to finish his Comp Eng degree plus maybe grad studies).

    And that's only half-joking.

Otherwise, probably similar to @Pinga , esp. this part:

    I get that @Mendalla .
I love what I do, and I love teaching bright young folks how to do it.
I would be thrilled to have the money to fund my own startup, training co-op students in this area, and building the tower to go with our other towers.

To me, helping students build good jobs in a great space would be good for us all.

Bunched Prophets ... doomy or Francis' Animals ... is there a way off into the ultimate ... does it take martyrdom or full sacrifice ... potsdam or potswapping ... and the deficient are still preserved, tucked away in the cellar ... can alternate ET's be lost in the obscurity? The smelly end of the poles?
