Redbaron as a Councillor and/or the entire Council has banned me from the thread 'Anyone Else Going to General Council in July?' I believe this is an undue thread ban as I feel that I did not derail the thread as he/they alledge. As for any question of ignoring warnings from a Councillor/the Council, there were no warnings given in Council font (bold dark purple). Please see attached screen shots - one is the warning given to me by Redbaron, the other an actual example of Council font. Screenshot_20180612-130631.png Screenshot_20180612-131439.png

I still say they should ban you from the subforum.

Purple is purple. A warning is a warning.
The ban was not undue. If anything, it was overdue.

By the way, your new thread was supposed to deal with the ability of less-than-affluent people to take part in a national church event.

    Moderator gives a warning.

Does it really need to be in a specific colour?

I mean do you need a specific colour because you cannot understand actual words?

Sure, maybe you don't feel the warning has any merit. Nothing new about that either.

Doesn't change the fact you were warned. If you want to spend time focussing on the colour employed you are focussing on entirely the wrong thing and there will be no profit in it for you.

Disagree. I think that trolls get a great deal of psychic profit out of needling other people.

    Profit is considered benefit.

Jae's behaviour escalates much more quickly after he returns from his voluntary vacations.

Suggests to me that his addiction is requiring much more fuel.

Decidedly not profitable or beneficial. It is a race to the bottom.

He generates controversy and that is now finally resulting in suspensions and thread bans. They come quicker with each successive disciplinary action. He cannot get what he wants when he is shut out.

He is going to have to find another dealer to scratch his itch.

It looks to me like it might have been a screenshot posted as a picture rather than quote

Correction, looked again, a number of screen shots as pictures

You can take a screenshot on your android phone by placing the side of your hand on the left side of the screen and swiping right. It will make a camera clicking sound. That image is now on your phone. From there, you can upload it to the site.

On your PC, I suggest a free account on Imgur.com and the Imgur plugin for Chrome.

And it just hit me, why a screenshot? A link was all that was needed. No words of Jae's were removed and no moderator posts were altered. Screenshots are what you use when someone deletes what you write. If you suspect the moderator is going to do something underhanded, you take a screenshot. Or if they did something underhanded but you still have the deleted post up on anther browser tab, you take a screenshot. Then you ask what was so bad about what you wrote, and watch them squirm.

    That did not happen here.

I move to allow Red to be as red/ green blind as he wants to and use any shade of redish purple or greenish purple for as long as his words make sense.

I think it's important to point out that a moderator does not have to give an unofficial warming in a topic to take any action. The mod font was put into place just to help distinguish it from a personal point of view. It clears up when a mod states something like 'I don't like your post' whether that's coming from something they individually think but wouldn't moderate, or whether it's starting to be inappropriate for the site and is something that may lead to moderation. Hopefully the words are clear enough to make the distinction, but the mod font is utilized to help make that more obvious.
There have been a few different colours used, I know I've gone with what I thought it was, checked realized I was one off in our colour selections and changed it. Hopefully we can get all the mods using the same colour for consistency, but whether or not that is done it does not affect what actions may be taken if someone is behaving inappropriately.

It's funny how that happens when it's someone else's words. When it was his own he just couldn't recall and didn't bother to look back.

He'll take a break again. Last time it was 9 days. Who knows this time. I think John is on to something when he points out that Jae comes back to scratch an itch. As he supposedly thinks he is doing nothing wrong, there is no helping him. I don't know that he wants to get better at social interactions. He gets what he wants out of them, and to hell with anyone else.

He'll come back, have a few people fooled for a while, and we'll go through this all over again. It's what we do.

Perhaps we are his way of coping with his school life. He raves about it but perhaps it is a struggle. Not unexpectedly considering his attitude. But perhaps after a bad beat down from school or family issues he feels a need to lash out

    This.

And why would any, hearing a Moderator express anything remotely resembling a warning, think that they can continue to push a matter further with absolutely no consequence. It is like trying to fight a parking ticket because the police gave no warning that they were going to hit the lights and the siren just because I was driving to fast.

I am honestly surprised that nobody made a link between the Ontario Provincial Election and his return. The results of the election allowed him to flip the bird to all Ontarian WonderCAfe2 members disappointed with the result. Employing his favourite dead horse while doing so.

    Seriously? Nobody noticed that?
