How was church today?

Some thoughts will just not knit with the MO' ... something about primal resistance to psyche ... thus space for thought is strange dimension ...

Demiurge fails? Falls thro' holes to elsewhere ...

Ejection of Ba'aL ... a great yarn as this beast haunts with fiery winds --- Harold Bloom's ... flowering Glens ... home of ideosis ... mental projections for those that disbelieve in the essence of sol ... thus no space for thought or Eve in prescience ...

Unraveling is difficult due to cross entanglement of maddens ...

Flocks of ravens were once known as "unkindness" or "conspiracy" ... alternate perspective is that these things are black and thus can't be observed ... some contrast prerequisite?

Thus word indelible form just can't be considered thought or wisdom ...

Allows grief bends and losses ... as denials move on ... complex issues from simple landings ... as conspiracies of birds grind on ... Hitchcockian theory ...

Cock a mani ...

My Baptist church in Toronto had a knitting ministry going on for a short time.
Many churches have knitting ministries - this though invites people to knit DURING the worship service if they wish, which is a bit different.

That's a bit ridiculous imho. Worship services are for corporate worship - not individual handicrafts.

Thus one can craft an alternate yarn ... unacceptable to the staunchly unteachable ... they despise greater visions of balance ... vast inequities in their mind that they are Beta ... and not different!

Many people do it anyway to keep their hands busy, may as well have them doing it for the benefit of the church's mission. After all, it's not like a class where the teacher is going to call them on it (I hope).

Imho, their minds and hearts should be focused on worshipping God - not on one knit-one pearl-two.

And they could be. Keeping the hands busy is a way of focusing the mind for some people.

However, knitting isn't a required worship element.

Moreover, if Sally likes knitting and is allowed to knit during service, why shouldn't Carol who prefers embroidery be allowed to embroider. And then there's John who prefers rug hooking... Bill who prefers wood working, Jo who prefers basketball...

I would say the latter two would be a problem due to noise and space. But I see no issue with embroidery. Rug hooking could be awkward due to space.

Look, I would not do it myself, but if it helps them focus and it isn't disturbing others, then I am good with it. I have had people knit during my sermons and conversations afterwards showed they "got it".

I brought my kids to church.

Idle hands are the Devil's workshop. Ha ha ha knit on, I say. It could be the United Church version of the Catholic Prayer Beads. :)

Some may need a third hand or the legend of 15 fingers ... that creeping feeler? Many are numbed in the sanct ... thus nebulous cloudy sensationalists ... like that old lady in the midst with the queer hat who demands all queer things be eliminated as unorthodox ...

This continues because the kirk hates change, learning and alternate courses ... comparative BS? AD continuum ... thus sancts sink ...
