Ty Pandemic Fear!!!

Umm Toronto? Do you really want to be like ultraviolent Nunavut? All these shootings recently. Sheesh.

How goes the mask wearing physical distancing and hand washing in your neck of the woods?

Oh well - they did lose game 7, but fought pretty hard. Some mistakes cost them big time tho. So - the Jays are still in the running!! LOL Yes - it's good to be able to watch sports again, I agree. I'm especially glad that baseball is on again - it gives my dear old Dad an alternative to immersing himself in the craziness of Fox News all day!!

London had the only air show in Canada for 2020 last weekend! Called SKY DRIVE because.......it was
limited to 2000 people per show and you had to stay in your car or sit outside of it on lawn chairs.
Apparently it was very successful.

And more Sky Drive in case you missed it:

Thunderbolt 2 Demo team

Highlights of the air show. All planes were from the USA....I guess ours weren't working, lol.

Brantford had a drive-thru ribfest this past weekend. It seemed to go well, and Billy Bones food was a hit here. (Camp 31 is in our stomping ground, so we chose the one that we can't get regularly)

Oh the London Airshow is legendary - I remember my son going with friends at a younger age & being so thrilled to actually get up close to the planes on the ground - maybe even IN one! We usually catch bits of the CNE airshow on Labour Day, but it was cancelled this year. Yesterday I was outside and heard an odd sound in the sky - looked & waited - it was a BIPLANE going by! Perhaps from the warplane heritage museum in Hamilton?

This morning we got a free airshow as a B52 bomber flew over our place and pulled a U turn as it headed back to London....probably getting ready to go back to the states.....now if only the Thunderbirds did the same.
It's too bad these magnificent machines have to be used for war....they're thrilling just on their own.

I thought the CF-18 demo team was coming. The Snowbirds had to pass, I think, due to the crash that grounded them earlier this year. I have enjoyed watching the rehearsal activity from my office parking lot in past years but I was still working from home last week so didn't really see or hear as much as usual.

I remember going with friends when I was in university. We actually lost it for like a decade due to rising insurance and security costs after 9/11. It was just revived maybe 2 years ago.

Are Eire showing transparent as High Flight's imposition ... could be displaced as thunk!

Did you know that Eire once was a word for the hidden psyche ... mind you displaced as Hibernia ...

May be a simple disconnect from all that was ... but still is and will be until ends are encountered! Ethical enigma ...

Looks a bit desolate. I see it's on the edge of the base, so that explains it.
