The "best stuff": an outfit which can be rolled into a ball, or a "roll". which comes out crease-free. I have a blouse and a dress that do so.

I used to always carry heels for a dressier look. And it always annoyed me that they took up so much room

Then one business trip I unknowingly went with a fractured tibia. My leg was sore but I thought pulled muscles from my run the day before

First night, big meet and greet dinner. Out in heels, stood up and almost collapsed with pain. Stupid me, still not thinking stress fracture

But I learned that a nice dress still looks nice in flat sandals. So now I never take heels, just a strapping nice light flat sandal that can be casual with shorts or dressy with a dress

I find men’s clothes are trickier in my rinse and wear plan. At least my husbands. For starters they are bigge and also less drip dry. I have purchased him some new underwear, which is ok, and they are not the white cotton long to dry stuff

Golf shirts type shirts I try to find in light wicking material so they dry fast too

But he also likes a button up shirt, casual with rolled sleeves or dressier at night. They are a problem, don’t really wear twice, but also don’t rinse. So i do end up taking more of his clothes than mine

I don't pack for my man - he is big enough to do that for himself! I do have to accept seeing him in some strange get-ups - not my problem. I haven't packed for anything but camping or a few days with family for a few years though.

I have gotten to the point with the old guy that, accept for the odd raised eyebrow, I say nothing about his get-ups (the 3-4 times a year he might join me in church I'm a bit fussier). He's a funny combo of old hippie and old man, and his fashion sense was never his strong point.

Well, men are generally bigger, and honestly, if they've got to be dressed decently, there's just a different bulk in a suit compared to one of those magical "roll in a ball and it comes out looking dressy and fine" dresses that are fairly easy to find as a woman. OTOH, if a guy wears the same thing every day, no-one wonders; there's a bit of a double standard for women...

Thus we tramp about ... noting nature and nurture without expending it excessively ... some do some don't!

Understand natural preservation as not capitalized ...

Pack a bathingsuit in your carry on! For me, bathing suits are not a fun or easy shopping experience so I always make sure to keep on in my carry on in case my luggage doesn’t make it.

Find out what types of outlets are on the ships and make sure you have converters so you can charge your phone etc.

I would double check that knitting needles are allowed on the airplane!

I have taken knitting on a plane before so I am assuming it is okay - though I have been told to err on the side of smaller needles. So I will knit sox while flying.

I am heading off tomorrow. I will let you know how it all goes when I get back.

When tripped can one fall on the facetious superficial unreality?

Tis complexly compounded ... in layers ...

some advise using circular needles - no chance of dropping one & losing it forever!

You must be getting excited now! Just dropped my son & gf at the airport - off to Russia they go on Air France!

We live in strange times so be prepared for nonsense. My mum was returning to England. The elderly lady ahead of her had her needles ripped out of the socks she was knitting because the enforcers claimed needles were weapons. Mum was nervous about having the grandson's gift confiscated. But no. An complete archery set was legal to fly!
